Desmond Okyere, 20, and Dela Adu Frank, a 26-year-old taxi driver, plotted to assault and rob a taxi driver.

They used an item to strike their victim, wounding two of his right fingers.

The offenders will complete their jail terms in hard labor, according to the Court, which is presided over by Abass Abubakari Adams.

Desmond and Dela were sentenced to 15 years in jail for conspiring to commit crimes in violation of Sections 23(1) and 149 of the Criminal Offences Act 1960. (29).

They were also found guilty of robbery and sentenced to 20 years in jail by the court.

Both sentences will run at the same time.
