The Landlord of the late female Police Officer has told that she was murdered by her boyfriend after discovering she was cheating.

A police officer identified as Constable Sandra Asiedu has been stabbed to death.

According to Soireenews Savannah Regional Correspondent, Abdul Sammed Gurundari the policewoman is stationed at Damango in West Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region.

It is alleged that her boyfriend committed the act and is on a manhunt by the Police. The identity of the supposed boyfriend is currently unknown but snippets of information indicate he travelled from Obuasi in the Ashanti region to visit Constable Sandra Asiedu.

The Ghana Police Service however has named the young man the prime suspect pertaining to the killing, however, in an interview granted by the landlord of the late Constable Sandra Aseidu on Nkilgi FM at Bole, Mr Mahama Zakariah confirmed the incident that the Policewoman (Sandra) was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend.

"The boyfriend of the Police lady visited her at the house near the Damongo Nurses College and met another man whom I'm told is a military officer.

"The two boyfriends fought. The boyfriend of the lady after the brutal fight with the soldier went away and came back to kill her. So we only woke up to realize the police lady is dead on her bed,” he confirmed on Monday, August 2, 2021.

The body of the late Constable Sandra has been deposited at the West Gonja Catholic Hospital morgue by the Police.
