Government is unable to provide school with chalks – CCT Chairman 

The Bono Regional Chairman of Coalition of Concern teachers, Mr Owusu Acheaw Williams has criticized the government for failing to supply them with chalks.

According to him, the development has been negatively affecting their academic performance in schools.

He noted that the government promised quality education but cannot even provide necessities such as chalk, registers, and teachers' logbooks to facilitate the smooth running of the already deteriorating educational system.

He explained the situation has compelled them to use their pocket monies in some cases to buy chalk.

He added that the situation if not addressed immediately will hurt teaching and learning because they can no longer use their small overtaxed salaries to fund their schools.
