The Member of Parliament for the Techiman North Constituency, Honourable Lawyer Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare has donated a gas burner to the Home Economics Department of Tuobodom Senior High Technical  School.

The donation is part of the promises Hon Elizabeth made to the school during her "thank you tour" after the 2020 Parliamentary elections.

On behalf of the MP, the NDC Youth Organizer for Techiman North Constituency, Mr Adu Yaw Frank, presented the gas burner to the school.

He revealed that during Hon Elizabeth's "thank you tour" the Tuobodom Senior High Technical School Home Economics Head of Department, humbly requested a gas burner that will enable the final year students to write their W.A.S.S.C.E and also facilitates teaching and learning activities in the school.

Mr Adu Yaw said, Honourable Elizabeth has the interest of all students especially girls at her heart and she has put measures in place to the foot for the bills of female students who have the ambition of becoming a lawyer in the future.

He disclosed that he is overwhelmed with the reception given to him by the staff and students of the Tuobodom Senior High School and he will convey other grievances laid before him by the staff and teachers to Hon Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare.

Receiving the gas burner, the Head Teacher of the school, Mr Charles Agyapong, applauded the MP for fulfilling her promise within the shortest possible time and promised to make good use of the gas burner for the betterment of the students and the school in general.

He urges all and sundry especially residents of Techiman North to enrol their children in the school since they have adequate infrastructures and well-trained teachers to help develop their students morally and academically.

Some students of the school also ceased the occasion to express their profound gratitude to Hon Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare for her kind gesture and as Oliver Twist asked always ask for more, donations from the MP and other well-meaning citizens to help create a conducive environment for teaching and learning activities are welcome.
