Member of Parliament for Wenchi Constituency Presents Educational Support to 110 Students in the Municipality. 

According to the MP, since he came into office as a Member of Parliament, he has supported some of the schools in the municipality with computers, books, uniforms, and classrooms among others to support the educational standard in the Municipality.

As part of efforts to improve access to education for some of the students in the Wenchi Municipality of Bono Region, the Member of Parliament for Wenchi Constituency Honourable Seidu Haruna has presented educational support to 110  students in the Municipality in the form of cash.

The objective of the educational support is to support the students to further their education at the tertiary level so that in future they can contribute their quota to the development of Wenchi Municipality.

Honourable Seidu Haruna in an interview stated that since education is key for national development and he decided to use part of his common fund to support education in the municipality.

He said this is not the first he has presented educational support to the students.

Honourable Seidu Haruna again emphasised that he will continue to support the education sector in the municipality to help develop it in the area.

He urged the students to make good use of the educational support that they have received and take their studies seriously.

The Wenchi Municipal Education Director, Madam Mery Adu Twum on behalf of the students commended the member of parliament for his commitment towards education in the Municipality and urged the students to use the money for its purpose.

Some of the students also commended the MP and promised to make good use of the money.
