The projects were in partnership with a Non-Governmental Organisation called HELPING AFRICA FOUNDATION which financed and founded the cost of the computers and supplied over 75 computers to support the lab.

The Member of Parliament for Dormaa West Constituency in the Bono Region Honourable Vincent Oppong Asamoah who also doubles as the Chairman for the NDC Bono caucus officially commissioned and handed over an ultra-modern ICT Lab to the Dormaa West Education Directorate on Tuesday 8th November 2022.

The projects were in partnership with
a Non-Governmental Organisation called HELPING AFRICA FOUNDATION which financed and founded the cost of the computers and supplied over 75 computers to support the lab.

The member of Parliament on the other hand also bore the cost of the building with an amount of almost one hundred and ninety thousand cedis (GH 190,000) for the construction of the Lab.

The project Director of Helping Africa Foundation Mr Kafui Prebbie called on the education directorate to make good use of the facility to serve its purpose.

Honourable Vincent Oppong Asamoah in an interview said, he will do his best to uplift the education standard in the constituency and also to build more infrastructural facilities to support the people in the area.

The District Education Director Mr Kwadwo Bofah expressed his appreciation to the member of Parliament for his support towards education.

The Chief of Nkrankwanta, Baffour Agyei Akyea Akombi in his speech thanked the Member of Parliament for constructing the ultra-modern ICT lab for the children in the District.

He also charged the children in the area to make good use of the ICT Lab.
