Emmanuel Light Chapel Put Smile in Orphanages

The founder who also doubles as Head Pastor of Emmanuel Light Chapel located at Goaso in Asunafo North Municipality of Ahafo Region has made a donation to Mumslove Care Foundation at Duayaw -Nkwanta as a way of giving back to society

The items worth thousands of Ghana cedis and includes toiletries, bags of rice, tomato paste, gallons of cooking oil,  cartons of milk, soft drinks, bags of mineral water, bedsheets and wristwatches.

Presenting the items Blessing K Bakar Founder of the church said the ministry was very glad to have the opportunity to brighten up the faces of the less privileged children with smiles.

 Pastor Bakar, said the Bible encourages Christian's to recognize the true religion which is taking care of Orphanages, widows and the needy in society as stated in James 1:27.

Pastor Bakar, further called on church and corporate institutions to reach out to orphans, widows and physically challenged in society, adding "this is the right time to time to demonstrate true love and give back to society."

Adam Moro, a resident of the children's home who received the items on behalf of the children Expressed his joy at the love shown towards them.

Mumslove Care Foundation established by Moro Adam on 3 June 2007 is a registered institution under the Department of social welfare, he added.

Blessing Adam who spoke on behalf of the Orphanages expressed appreciation to Emmanuel Light Chapel towards the gesture and pleaded with the general public to come to their aid as the country battle's Covid 19. 

“I am very happy about this donation. As an orphanage, we face a lot of challenges.

She however believes that the donations from Emmanuel Light Chapel will touch the hearts of many other churches and organizations to help ease the pressure on them as far as feeding and clothing are a concern.
