Over hundred (100) Private Water Providers in the Techiman North District of the Bono East Region are pleading with the government led by President Nana Akufo-Addo to pay their Locked Up Covid-19 Free Water Funds.

Addressing a press conference at Tuobodom, Nana Kwaku Yeboah Chairman of the Techiman North private Borehole Association disclosed that they have submitted all their bills about seven (7) months ago through the District Assembly but to date they have not received any payment despite the government's claim that the monies have been released.

“Government should pay us now because we’re aware that our colleagues in other districts have been paid, so why is the case of Techiman North district different?” Nana Kwaku Yeboah enquired.

He however pleaded with the government of Ghana to pay them their monies as soon as possible in order to relieve them from an unbearable hardship.
