The Drobo Traditional Council has performed rituals to invoke a curse on the NPP1st vice-chairman for Jaman South Constituency, Henry Yaw Afful over derogatory comments (verbal assault) he meted out to Drobomanhene Okokyeredom Sakyi Ako II.

Mr. Henry Yaw Afful went hard on the Drobohene who doubles as the Vice President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs, Okokyeredom Sakyi Ako II after asking him to make available the classroom block to Ampenkro D/A Primary School otherwise necessary steps would be taken to unlock the classrooms.

BACKGROUND

There was a drama at the Ampenkro/Asratoa D/A Primary School in the Jaman South Municipal of the Bono region as the 1st vice-chairman of the Jaman South NPP, Henry Yaw Afful (Henforo) stormed the school premises and locked up the entire block thereby preventing the students and the teachers access to the classrooms to effect school activities.

The 6 unit classroom project which falls under the one million dollars per constituency according to source was awarded to Mr. Henforo’s firm of which he has not been settled by his own party’s government led by Nana Akuffo Addo, hence the decision to lock up the building in demanding for his money.

Reacting to his decision which has been condemned by many in Jaman South, the headteacher of the school, Samuel Afful registered his displeasure and how school activities have been halted since Monday.

However, Henry Yaw Afful (Henforo) said he took the action over the government's failure to certify the project and pay him money due him.

The Municipal Chief Executive for the area Hon. Alhaji Abuu however assured the assembly will find a temporal place for students of Ampenkuro Asrantoa to learn until the controversy over the new classroom block would be resolved.

He however assured that the consultant will certify the project for him to hand it over to the community in no time. But he was quick to add that; he cannot allow its usage as he would be responsible for any repairs that will come before its certification.

The Drobo Traditional Council is however calling on the gods of their land to deal with Mr. Henry Yaw Aful for disrespecting their superior
