Delegates Urged To Support Wisdom Adzedakor For North Tongu NDC Communications Officer

Regarding his aspiration for the position of NDC Communications Officer in the North Tongu Constituency of the Volta Region, Mr. Wilson Wisdom Adzedakor has received strong backing from grassroots supporters, who regard him as a man of the people.

According to them, Mr. Adzedakor, the former Deputy Communications Officer of the NDC in the constituency, worked hard to increase the NDC's voting margins in the 2024 general election; they strongly believe he will bridge the communication gap and secure victory if delegates mandate him as the NDC's North Tongu Constituency Communications Officer.

They pointed out that Mr. Adzedakor has a vast, proven track record of achievements, which attests to the fact that he will dedicate his credibility to the substantive communications task of the NDC in the North Tongu Constituency if the delegates give him the nod to win the communications bid.

In an interview with the Africa TODAY NEWS newspaper, Mr. Adzedakor outlined key, ambitious visions, pledged a youth-and-job-focused communication drive, and promised all-inclusive leadership.

Following these assurances to constituents and party members, the young politician called on delegates and the NDC faithful to vote massively for him in the upcoming elections, aiming to actualize his vision and strengthen the party's communication structures ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Mr. Adzedakor—who drew number one on the ballot—reaffirmed his commitment to focus on youth employment and inclusive leadership in North Tongu if given the mandate by delegates and party faithful to win the Communications Officer race.

According to Mr Adzedakor, his decision to leave his role as the deputy communications officer of the North Constituency to run for the substantive communications officer position was driven by his vision to transform the NDC's communication structures in the constituency.

Mr. Adzedakor stated that he stands for the traditional principles of the NDC as a loyal social democrat committed to probity and accountability.

He added that he upholds the core values of the NDC to fight against high-profile local corruption and the abuse of public office.

Mr Adzedakor commits to working with all party supporters and members as he campaigns for the NDC North Tongu Constituency Communications Officer position, stating that the NDC is not private property and calling for collaboration to win the 2028 general elections.

He highlighted the political profile and experience of the incoming North Tongu Constituency Communications Officer, noting that in 2025 he vied for the position of North Tongu District Chief Executive Aspirant, and in 2022 he served as the North Tongu Constituency Deputy Communications Officer.

He added that from September 2013 to June 2014, he served as the President of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS).

According to him, from June 2013 to June 2014, he also held the position of President of the Ghana Union of Professional Students (GUPS).
