NDC 2026 Internal Elections: Chiefs, Residents Endorse David Dakudzi For NDC Eastern Regional Chair

Investigations across the 33 constituencies of the Eastern Region show that chiefs, queen mothers, religious leaders, and residents strongly back the aspiring Eastern Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), praising his dedication to improving grassroots lives. 

The massive endorsement of Mr.Dakudzi’s NDC Eastern Regional chairmanship bid by constituents stems primarily from his visible social and infrastructural initiatives, which have significantly touched the lives of grassroots residents—including traditional and religious figures—across all thirty-three (33) constituencies in the region.

During a recent tour of the Eastern Region by an Africa TODAY NEWS newspaper team, local chiefs and residents urged NDC delegates to vote massively for Mr Dakudzi in the regional chairmanship race.

They were of the view that looking at the remarkable record, achievements and demonstration of Mr Dakudzi, he has what it takes to restructure and bring the floating voters on board to vote for the NDC to retain the political power in the 2028 general elections.

According to the grassroots supporters and members of the NDC, Mr Dakudzi has consistently demonstrated accessibility, dependability, and grassroots commitment throughout his tenure as Deputy Regional Youth Organizer and Deputy Regional Organizer, earning the trust of delegates through his humility, loyalty, and unwavering support.

They noted during his campaign tours ahead of the 2024 elections, residents raised concerns about water scarcity. 

In response, they noted Mr. Dakudzi constructed mechanized boreholes to improve local potable drinking water delivery systems.

Additionally,while touring the Afram Plains South constituency, they revealed that he constructed a multi-purpose community durbar ground to enhance community gatherings for the chiefs and people. 

He also built shelters for Fulanis in various communities to provide them with designated resting places.

Furthermore, they said Mr. Dakudzi has been highly instrumental in supporting community social and infrastructural projects by generously donating quantities of cement.

David Dakudzi is widely regarded as a development-oriented leader with a strong track record of visible achievements.

They said he maintained continuous accessibility and genuine support for delegates through all seasons.

They urged the delegates to reward his consistent service by electing him as the new Eastern Regional chairman of the NDC.
