The Crown For Souls International (USA), an non governmental organization (NGO) on Friday February 17, 2023 donated a quantities of food and other items to the hundreds of inmates in the Lady Diana School, one of the  orphanage homes located at Anyaa-Hill Top in the Ga Central Municipality of of Greater Accra Region.

The donation which was was part the Crown for Souls International- USA's humanitarian efforts to contribute effectively to the upbringing of the children in the school.
The initiative was also the efforts of the NGO to contribute to the quality education of the children in the school.

The food items included bags of rice, tomato paste, mackerels, tins of milk, bars of key soap, sugar, cooking oil, fruit drinks, tuber of yam, gari and toiletries.

Presenting the items, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Crown for Souls International- USA, Mr. Kenneth Hushie said he was touched by the plight of the children and decided to donate the items to address some of their challenges and hoped that the items would go a long way in helping the needy children.
Mr. Kenneth Hushie indicated that the items are meant to facilitate effective hard work to motivate the school children in learning to enhance the delivery of quality education.

He said they always looked for opportunity to bless others because "we believe that when God blesses you is just a normal things to be a blessing."

"We saw the need of this school especially the market women who are vulnerable and do not have what it to takes their kids to the regular school. So the only options were for them they bring them here and NGO here subsidise.

"And we think that this is an worthy course we should also support. And because of that l solicit some few people including my own business and my company and we decided to champion this course," Mr. Kenneth Hushie stated.
He said they decided to donate the items to help shape the future of the children in the school as well as the nation as a whole.

Aside this initiative, Mr. Kenneth Hushie stated that they also organised siminars when they used the platform to encourage young men and women to empower them for their future.
He indicated his outfit commitment and readiness to continue to support the vulnerable persons in the society.
He said that they would continue to do this beyond the Ga Central municipality in Accra, saying that they have given educational learning materials to some students in some other schools in Accra.

He used the opportunity to advise the needy children to take their studies seriously and discipline themselves and empower their mind to become something wealthy in the future.
She asked the people in higher positions and well-to-do to donate to motherless and fatherless in the society for their up-keep.
He said the inmates through no faults of theirs have become orphans and have found themselves in the orphanage home.

They therefore need the support of the society to live, he said.
Mr. Kenneth Hushie urged the orphans not be disturbed and discouraged with their situation, but should strive hard to succeed in life.
He told journalists that education is the best legacy that parents and guardians could bequeath their children nowadays.

For her part, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the school, Madam Lady Diana Apetogbor
who received the items thanked the Crown for Souls International- USA for its kind gesture and prayed to God to reward the NGO abundantly.
She said the items would go a long way to help the orphanage address some of the teething challenges confronting it.

She pleaded with other benevolent individuals, institutions and corporate bodies to follow the footsteps of Crown for Souls International- USA Hon
According to her, the running of the home has become difficult due to inadequate resources and appealed for more support to ensure that the Home is able to adequately provide for the children.

“We need more support to help us take care of the children in terms of feeding, and schooling.
The home is often challenged in this regard, so we require help” she noted.
She revealed that the school which in the year 2012 with three children can boost of population of  three hundred children in the school and thanked for protecting the school to grow this level.

Madam Apetogbor pointed out that the school offered education scholarship for the needy orphans and poor in the society.
She pointed out that the school has challenges of how to pay for the teaching staff and they secured loans to pay the teachers.

She added that the school is looking for financial support to build wash rooms for boy and girls and called of the philanthropical individuals and corporate institutions to come to their aid.

She pointed out that the school in the need of new desks and stressed the need for the corporate institutions and NGOs to come to their need.
