Wenchi: SDA Church Donates Blood To Methodist Hospital

The Seventh Day Adventist Church in the Wenchi West District of the Mid West Ghana Conference (MWGC) has donated blood to the Wenchi Methodist hospital blood bank.

The exercises form part of the church's activities to mark its annual Youth Week Of Prayer and 13th Sabbath celebration of the first quarter of the year.

Pastor Collins Aboagye Nkrumah, the Wenchi West District Pastor of the SDA Church told Soiree News at the blood donation exercise that the church believed that donating blood to the Methodist hospital would go a long way to help the public including the church members.

He said the church would continue to donate blood to support blood banks to health facilities within the area.

Mr Moses Amoah, the blood bank manager at the Wenchi Methodist laboratory  explained that blood donation was essential to saving the lives of accident victims and those suffering from anaemia and other aliments that required blood

Mr Moses Amoah thanked the church for their volunteerism and called on other churches to emulate the SDA church.
