Awutu Bawjiase Polyclinic in Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region has turned its corridor into an Emergency Unit.

According to the workers and patients of Awutu Bawjiase polyclinic, inadequate hospital facilities have affected quality health delivery in their area.

The entire Awutu Bawjiase Polyclinic has only three beds for the kid's ward, six beds for the Female ward, nine beds for the Male ward, which is a big challenge to the workers and the patients of the hospital.

The Medical Superintendent in charge of Awutu Bawjiase Polyclinic Martina Johnson hinted that because of inadequate hospital facilities conflict with Awutu Bawjiase Polyclinic quality health delivery is their major challenge.

 She finally appealed to the government and the Minister of Health Kwaku Agyemang Manu as matter of urgency to come to their aid.

She made these remarks when the Member Parliament for Awutu Senya West, Honourable Gizella Agbotui Tetteh donated 50 bags of cement to support the ongoing emergency ward facility at Awutu Bawjiase Polyclinic.

Meanwhile, Honourable Gizella Tetteh -Agbotui also lamented over the poor hospital facilities facing the entire Awutu Bawjiase polyclinic.

She furthermore opened that she will do her possible best as a Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West to assist the hospital with good health delivery.
