The Medical Superintendent of Ajumako Government Hospital in Ajumako- Enyan- Essiam District of Central Region, Dr Mekano David has disclosed to the media how thefts are making the lives of the hospital staff unhappy due to the absence of a fence.

He, therefore, recounted a situation where a bungalow was broken and took away the belongings of a Senior doctor with some encroachers developing on the hospital lands which are unlawful.

He made these remarks during a 2021 Peer Review of the Hospital which a score of 88.7% was awarded being the 3rd performance facility in the region.

Speaking to Central Regional Soireenews Correspondent, Abusuapanyin Kojo Ahinful, the Odikro of Ajumako- Kumasi, Nana Attah Baah a representative of Omanhen of Ajumako Traditional Council, he said, the need to construct a fence wall around the hospital will solve the encroachment and robbery cases.

He, therefore, urged District Assembly and Philanthropists to intervene in the situation.
  
At the Function, Regional Disease Control Officer, Mr, Charles K. Eshun, representative of Regional Director of Health, said the Central government is handicapped, therefore urged the District Assembly, Nananom, NGO's and Citizens Abroad to uplift the image of the facility because of it standard.
