Danger looms Traders in Kasoa Walantu Market over the discharge of Hospital liquid waste

Residents and traders of Kasoa Walantu in the Awutu Senya East constituency of the Central Region have lamented over the discharge of liquid waste from the Kasoa Polyclinic to the community.
Speaking on Kasoa based Pink FM, monitored by Soireenews, the residents stated that the waste which comprises urine, toilet, and some liquid waste from the hospital poses danger to their health.
The stench emanating from the liquid waste is gradually affecting business activities since both traders and customers find it challenging to cope with the situation.
A dressmaker at the market made recounted how she spends huge sums of money to control the situation as the liquid waste runs in front of her shop.
Residents have since made calls to the appropriate authorities to manage the situation.
