The communication officer for the central region's Awutu Senya East constituency has stated that they no longer trust some Kasoa police officers and that they will defend themselves in the upcoming election in 2024.

The National Democratic congress communication officer for the central region's Awutu senya East constituency, Mr. Delali Seworkpor has stated that they no longer trust some Kasoa police officers and that they will defend themselves in the upcoming election in 2024.
Mr.Delali Seworkpor addressed to Media during the Branch retreat organized by Awutu senya East National Democratic congress constituency chairman, Mr.Stephen Ofosu Agyare.
According to him, Hounrable Hawah Koomson allegedly recruited adult men from Bwako to terrorize the good people of Kasoa, particularly the members of the National Democratic Congress, and no Kasoa division police officers were arrested or prosecuted in the 2020 election.
So, in the 2024 election, they will not sit by and watch that idiocy repeat itself; instead, they will ensure that they meet them head-on because they have lost faith in some Kasoa police officers.

Meanwhile, Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor, a parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress in the 2020 election, has encouraged Kasoa security personnel to work professionally with tothe good people of Kasoa both before and after the election in 2024.
She also implied that the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Akufo Dampare, is to blame, and expressed her hope that Kasoa will be protected during and after the election, which she believes will be free of violence in 2024.
