Celestine Donkor: "Investing GH₵50,000 in my soul is more worthwhile than going for body enhancement"

The notion of figure enhancement, which is popular among female celebrities in show business, does not appeal to Ghanaian gospel vocalist Celestine Donkor.

Celestine Donkor: "Investing GH₵50,000 in my soul is more worthwhile than going for body enhancement"

During her guest appearance on Thursday, April 25, 2024, on Hitz FM's morning show Daybreak Hitz, Celestine informed host Doreen Avio that she would like to make investments in items that will uplift her spirit rather than consider making physical changes to her physique.

"I can state with confidence that, as a minister, if I had GH₵40,000 or GH₵50,000 to invest in my soul instead of my body, I would do so. I assure you that this body will expire eventually."

She said that a person's body will eventually be buried in the earth, regardless of how slender and well sculpted it may be.

"Your soul is the one that never dies. Our souls appear awful as a result of the time we spend trying to look nice. Give thanks to Jesus for you if you have the ideal balance of both.

It is a sad thing for a human being to invest so much in appearance and appearance while, at the same time, your soul is fading.

Since the human body is the worthless creature after death. Goats, even in death, have value since we can utilize them to make soup," the woman stated.

On the other hand, Celestine pointed out that there are exceptions; women who have medical issues that necessitate surgery are entitled to do so.

"If managing your diet and staying in shape is a viable option for you and your health is not in jeopardy due to your weight, then go for it.

It is OK to have surgery if your weight poses a risk to your health and life; it can literally save your life. Because my children would have perished in my womb if I had not undergone surgery for them," she remarked.
