                                                                                        The Bono Regional Minister Honorable. Justina Owusu Banahene has visited the campuses of SUSEC and St. James, amid the challenges faced with the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS).


Speaking with the prospect students seeking enrolment in the two campuses with parents, Madam Justina said as a parent and the minister of the region, it is part of her responsibility to see to it that the process goes well.


She advised the children to continue with their persistence in making sure they go through the process and get enrolled in the schools.


She called on them to take full advantage of the free Senior High School introduced by the Nana Addo led the government to secure a better future.


This visit was necessitated as most parents and wards were agitating about being placed in the wrong schools of their choices.


The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the 2021/2022 Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) for Senior High Schools (SHS) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) schools nationwide.


A press release issued by the GES said 555,353 candidates out of 571,892 candidates who sat for last year's Basic Education Certificate Examination, qualified to be placed.


It said 367,811 candidates out of the 555,353 qualified candidates were automatically placed in one of the schools of their choice whiles 187,542 qualified candidates would have to do self-placement to select available schools since they could not be matched with any of their choices.
