Bagbin clears the air on his pronouncement on Majority side of Parliament
The Speaker says he was misquoted.

The Right Honorable Speaker Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin referred the house to proceedings of Friday, January 14, 2021, where he said that the independent candidate together with the NPP constitutes majority group in parliament.
According to the speaker, the public affairs department of parliament even got it wrong on what he said.
Mr Bagbin indicated that his pronouncement has future implications, so nobody should misquote his words.

His comments were in connection with public misrepresentation of what he announced on Friday 14th January on who is the majority of parliament.
"Now the members of the New Patriotic Party together with the Independent member constitute the Majority Parliamentary Group in the House. That was what I stated," he said.
"And I stand by that. So the votes and the proceedings should be corrected accordingly," he added.
