Ras Mubarak has lost the Council of State Election in Northern Region.

The former NDC MP for Kumbugu was the only candidate who recorded zero votes.

The winner, Mohammed Tahiru Zunglana trampled upon his 3 competitors with 23 votes after 32 delegates participated had cast their votes.

At the end of the polls;

1. Mohammoud Tahiru Zunglana had 23

2. Andani Alhassan had 8

3. Abdul Rashid- Mohammed had 1

4. Ras Mubarak had 0

At the end of the election the winner, Mohammoud Tahiru Zunglana expressed much joy and pledged to work hard as the region’s council of state member
