An internal NPP delegates' conference in the Amansie Central District of Odotobiri Constituency that dreamt to seek the party's success, rather became an opposite as delegates hoot at their own District Chief Executive.

A total scene of drama ensued during the area DCE's turn to deliver a speech. Furious and disappointed members of the NPP party shockingly hooted at their own DCE, Honourable Asamoah Boateng aka Asabee who stood to deliver a speech during the internal party's conference.

The angry party faithful who were not ready to listen to their District Chief Executive shouted at him whilst he was speaking by chanting, "Away, away, away, we don't want you, away!".

Speaking to this reporter after their action, the angry party faithful disclosed that their DCE is the most incompetent type they have ever witnessed.

Notwithstanding that alone, the angry party members also disclosed that the DCE disrespect his residents refuses to pick up calls and speaks to people anyhow.

Meanwhile, NPP party Chairman for the Odotobiri Constituency, Mr Dominic Bosompem speaking to the media said even though he heard the shouts, but he believes it was a mere sycophant given to the DCE by constituents and nothing else.

When asked to explain the meaning of the "away, away' word used to hoot at the DCE, the chairman said the best person to decide the away word was President Nana Akuffo Addo.

He denied that there's disunity amongst the party executives. According to him, executives of the party are well united and that people should rubbish any claim that executive members are not unity.

Mr Dominic Bosompem however made a fresh appeal to the authorities that, in terms of population and land size, he believes another constituency needs to be formed from the Odotobri constituency, to enable the growth of developmental projects since they have lagged behind progress.

Speaking at Jacobu during the constituency's turn of the NPP's annual delegates conference 2021, to stage accountability and enhancement of the NPP's vision for 2024, the chairman made the appeal that there was the need to also consider dividing the constituency into two.

According to chairman Bosompem, the Odotobri constituency has about 230 communities, which is leading by one MP, DCE and others, whereby some of the communities cannot access by car unless motorbikes, which normally gives challenges to their services.

Aside from that, one of his main problems which he wished should be fixed immediately is road infrastructures for the 230 communities within the district. He said none of their roads has seen improvement for the past years, which makes transport difficult sometimes.
