Akim Swedru MP Assists 1,500 Youth Into Artisanal Training

THE MEMBER of Parliament (MP) for Akim Swedru Constituency in the Eastern Region, Honourable Kennedy Nyarko Osei, has assisted more than 1,500 youth to under go artisanal free training in soup making, shampoo making, DSTV / MultiTV installation among others.
This bold initiative of the MP was aimed at ensuring the youth in his constituency are well to do and not being dependent on others.
The election and research officer for Akim Swedru constituency, Mr. Ernest Gyemah speaking on behalf of the MP hinted that most of the youth in the constituency complain of unemployment.
The development, which he stressed has informed the decision of the hardworking MP hence to equip the youths with skill work training which has been the main focus of the MP.
He emphasized that the youth of today shouldn't always be waiting for someone to fish for them all the time but rather learn any artisanal work which would go a long way to benefit them and their family.
He added that Honourable Osei is poised to ensuring the youth in his constituency become prominent and independent people.
He entreated everyone within the Akim Swedru constituency to take advantage of the MP's sponsored free artisanal training to equip them to do well in future.
Some of the youth who took part in the artisanal free training expressed their joy in partaking in the training and also revealed what they intend to do with the skill they've acquired.
