GTFC defiles difficulties in supporting local businesses with grand sales 2023

Despite being constrained to put together an exhibition at the usual location due to the ongoing reconstruction of the Ghana Trade Fair Company(GTFC), organizers have doubtless unveiled the 2023 grand sales.

Grand Sales is the annual sales event hosted by the Ghana Trade Fair company to provide a unique platform for local businesses to thrive through the exhibition of their wares.

The ongoing Fair, being held at the premises of the Ghana International Mall on the Agblezaa-Manet Road off the Spintex Road according to a section of exhibitors is picking up steadily.

This is a great opportunity for local businesses to take advantage of the platform created to support and help local businesses move and sell their products. In a statement, the Chief Executive Officer(CEO), of Trade Fair Company, Dr. Agnes-Adu noted that the location for this year's grand sales is prime for such an event, taking advantage of the traffic that exists in a mall environment.

Given the above, she is urging local businesses who cannot afford permanent mall space to register to showcase and sell their products in an environment that promises to provide the needed exposure for their goods and services.

"Our goal is to help local producers and retailers find an effective outlet to sell their products. Christmas is right around the corner and producers and retailers must clear their existing stock and make room for the Christmas rush.

This event is aimed to help businesses do just that!, "the CEO observed. "So we are here until Sunday, October 29, 2023", she indicated. She expressed optimism that the venue chosen by organizers being strategic will provide local businesses with the needed exposure and the opportunity to sell their products.

The exhibition according to the CEO, promises to be a mega one as the five-day was incorporated with fun-filled events to entertain a whole family.

Outlining the activities for the event, the CEO disclosed that not only will there be the opportunity to buy desired commodities, but there will be lots of fun activities for children at the kid's play area, live band performances during the five-day event to trade the Ghanaian intangible culture; and music.

Also, one will be spiced with Live DJ music throughout the exhibition to keep the excitement on with food and drinks available on sale while shopping.

The CEO is calling on the general public to patronize the exhibition as there will be made-in-Ghana products to suit their taste adding, "Buying made-in-Ghana goods is one of the key ways to help our economy grow".

Buying made in Ghana will support the government's efforts to industrialize the country through value-added products from our raw materials.

She is positive that buying made in Ghana products will reduce the country's over-dependence on imports and that will strengthen Ghana's economy.

Another benefit of buying made in Ghana goods she added, will enable job creation in the local communities. Dr.Agnes-Adu declared that buying made-in-Ghana products not only keeps money in the local communities but also promotes community investment and entrepreneurship.

"These are all key components that fuel a thriving economy as we begin to bounce back from the devastating impact of the global Economic Recession". ...and what a fun and lively atmosphere for all to enjoy as well", she said.
