The Member of Parliament for Techiman South Constituency, Honourable Martin Agyei Mensah Korsah has donated second-hand clothing (foss bill) to 64 women in his constituency through the Mikam foundation. 

The donation which took place behind the premises of Radio Link was part of a promise he made to his constituents to help eradicate poverty in the Techiman South Municipality.

Each bill cost around GHc1,200 and it's estimated that a total of GHc 240,000 was spent on the clothing bills.

All 64 beneficiaries got second-hand clothing bale each.

Addressing the media, Honourable Martin revealed that he seeks to raise the standard of living in his Constituency and plans to help the needy to start up a business of their own and also help improve the capital of traders and farmers alike in his area of jurisdiction.

He advised those that who benefited from the donation on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, to take good advantage of the opportunity given which in turn will pave way for others to also benefit from his initiative. 

Some beneficiaries expressed their profound gratitude towards Honourable  Agyei Mensah Korsah for his benevolence act.

According to them, this kind gesture from their MP will go a long way to put food on the table for their family.
