Abirem  MP donates Computers sets to Akyem Afosu Methodist Health Training Institute  

Member of Parliament for Abirem constituency in the Eastern Region, Honorable. John Osei Frimpong has donated eleven (11) sets of computers and accessories to the Methodist Health Training Institute at Akyem Afosu in the Birim North District of the Eastern Region.

This according to him was out of his pledge made to the school about a year and a half ago when he visited the school and was told of their needs.
According to him, he is of great joy as he has redeemed part of the promises he made by presenting 11 sets of computers and accessories to the institute to make strides in education.

Hon. MP, John Osei Frimpong entreated the students to take their studies serious as “we're in a computer era so without items like these you can not catch up with the rest of the world hence making frantic efforts to make sure the school's computer lab is stock to it's fullest level so that they can have full advantage of ICT”.

The principal of the school in her speech commended the MP for the gesture.
He further disclosed some challenges facing the school and a list of items that they may need to ensure effective learning in the school.
 but the MP  took it upon himself and gave a promise to that effect.

The Vice SRC President, Peprah Konadu Celestina on behalf of the school management and entire students thanked Hon. John Osei Frimpong for his kind gesture and promised to use the computers in goodwill.

The District Director of Education, Birim North District, and her staff, principal and school management, and entire students of about 800 were there to witness the presentation.
