Ben Chilwell would push for a move to Chelsea this week from Leicester City reports the Daily Mail.

The player has been linked with the Blues since the restart yet the Foxes are not willing to sell any of their players this summer, hoping to contend in the Europa and have a deeper squad ahead of next season.

Surrendering their top-four spot on the final matchday to Manchester United is a big blow to Rodgers who was trusting that Champions League football could have been a motivation to maintain his current talented squad after ending speculations on transfers that none of his players are for sale, expressly on Ben Chilwell.

“He’s (Ben Chilwell) a Leicester City player, and I’m relaxed about it. I’m not worried at all.

"We've got a fantastic squad and one that we want to keep together. There's no intention to sell Ben Chilwell and absolutely no need to sell. The message is: He's not for sale."

Chilwell's contract will run out in 2024 but the player desires to be part of Frank Lampard’s project, which has attracted some world potentials to play at Stamford Bridge.

Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech have begun pre-season with the Blues as talks with Kai Havertz is reported to have advanced.

A price tag of £85 million has been cuffed on Ben Chilwell, and if Chelsea wants to secure the services of one of the best English left-backs, they have to settle the Foxes.
