Ben Chilwell is simply not for sale, says Brendan Rodgers.

The Leicester City manager has cautioned that involved clubs should forget about the left-winger who has been ruled out of the Foxes last two games due to injury.

Frank Lampard is a strong admirer of Chilwell and speculations of his move to Stamford Bridge seems to have concluded following Brendan’s talk.

“I’m not sure,” he replied. “He’s a Leicester City player, and I’m relaxed about it. I’m not worried at all.

"We've got a fantastic squad and one that we want to keep together. There's no intention to sell Ben Chilwell and absolutely no need to sell. The message is: He's not for sale."

The Daily Mirror reported on Monday, July 13, 2020, that Manchester United now lead the race to sign the 20-year old from Leicester City in the summer but the decision to pay £60m for the services of the Englishman would be decided only if the Red Devils qualify for Champions League football.

Leicester is fourth, disjoined by a point between them and fifth-place Manchester United.

The two sides will meet on Sunday, July 26 at the King Power Stadium to decide their fate for Champions League football.
