Paris St. Germain might lose the services of Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi if they do not up their bid for service of the prolific Argentine.

Icardi has been on loan at the Ligue 1 club this season after the two clubs agreed with an option to buy, which expires on Sunday, May 31, 2020.

Per a report filed by Sky in Italy, several talks between PSG and the Italian club have not gone well due to the decline of the price value of the Argentine international.

His option to buy clause is £62.8m but the French club have been in talks to lower the fee to £44.7m plus a further £8.9m (€10m) in add-ons.

Inter are not willing to proceed with the deal and the player looks likely to make a return to Italy when his clause expires on Sunday.

The 27-year-old has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date and has scored 20 goals and provided five assists for his teammates.
