President of United States of America (USA) Joe Biden has tested negative for COVID-19, after testing positive a week ago.

"As described last week, acknowledging the potential for so called rebound COVID- posivity observed in a small percentage of patients treated with PAXLOVID, the President increased his testing cadence, both to protect people around him and to ensure early detection of f any return of viral replication," according to his personal doctor, Kevin O’Connor, DO. 

In a statement copied to Soireenews.com, Kevin O’Connor, DO noted that "After testing negative on Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning, Thursday morning and Friday morning, the President testing positive late Saturday by antigen testing. this is the fact represents rebound positivity.
He pointed out that the  President has experienced no reemergence of symptoms and continuous to feel quite well.
According to him, this is being the case , there is no reason to reinitiate treatment as this time,but we we'll obviously continue close examination
"However, given his positive antigen test, he he will reinitiate strict isolation procedures. As l have stated previously, the President continue to be very specifically conscientious to protect any of the executive residence, White House, Secret Service and other staff who duties require any (albeit socially distance) proximity to him.
He asserted that As promised, l would keep your office uphold with any changes in his condition or treatment plan.
