The Municipal Police Commander of Nkoranza South, ASP Wisdom Diaba has assured that the police command will deal vigorously with Fulani herdsmen in the municipal.
The Commander’s statement emerges in relation to the recent publication made by Soiree News 24 that said “17, 000 Cattle had destroyed a thousand hectares of farms at Anama, Salamkrom, Kyekyewere and Makyinimabre in the Nkoranza municipal of Bono East Region.
Speaking with SN24 on the development of the case yesterday, when the Police Commander, ASP Wisdom Diaba, and his men (patrol team) had stormed the hidey-hole of the Fulani herdsmen, the Police commander said proper measures are being put in place to sojourn the cattle from destroying farmers produce in the Nkoranza municipal.
He assured that the police command will match the Fulani herdsmen boot for the boot to stop them from destroying farms of the locals
