Residents, people of Ofuman in the Techiman Nort District of the Bono East region has indicated that, the lack of substantive Chief in the area has been a hindrance to the development of the community.

Residents, people of Ofuman in the Techiman North  District of the Bono East region has indicated that, the lack of substantive Chief in the area has been a  hindrance to the development of the community.

They say, the community has been without any developmental project after 7 years without a substantive Chief.

Spokesperson for the residents, Mr Fosu Gyan Gyeabour who doubles as a member of Aduana Royal family Abease disclosed to the media that, lawlessness has been the order of the day as the community lacks leadership to spearhead the community.

They have expressed their worries about this situation and are therefore appealing to the President Nana Akufo-Addo, National Security Minister and Bono East Regional House of chiefs to help enstool a Chief in the community for development.

They added that, Collins Ameyaw Bawuah the Queen Mother's Son, does not qualify to become a chief at Ofuman.

They are appealing to Bono East Regional House of chiefs to allowed them to bring somebody from Aduana Royal family Abease to be a new chief for Ofuman Community.
