Vincent Assafuah wins big at Old Tafo constituency

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo won the Presidential election by 42,363 against John Mahama's 14,721.

Ekow Vincent Assafuah will represent the Old Tafo Constituency in Ghana’s Parliament in 2021.

The Ministry of Education Public Relations Officer (PRO) garnered 42,616 votes to continue the legacy left by Dr Anthony Akoto Osei in the constituency.

Sahmudeen Mohammed Kamil of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) recorded 14,405 votes.

Ekow Assafuah earlier won the NPP parliamentary primaries by 299 votes at Old Tafo held on Saturday, June 20, 2020, in the constituency surpassing Dr Louise Carol Serwaa Donkor who came second with 113 votes.

In all, the total votes cast is 57,359 with valid ballots of 57,155.

The total rejected ballots were 204.
