Information available to Soiree News is that two persons suspected to be involved in robbery and kidnapping cases have been killed by the police at Yeji in the Pru East District of the Bono East Region.

A Special Anti-Robbery officers attached to the Bono East Regional Police Command shot and killed the  robber and kidnapper suspects, Ali Ruga alias Ali Muguyaro and Issaka Abubakar alias Kuriidor, through an intelligence-led operation on a criminal syndicate at Yeji on Monday December 20, 2021.

According to the Police the two were part of a kidnapping syndicate operating in the Yeji enclave.

According to the Yeji police command, the two bodies have been deposited at the Yeji government hospital morgue and case has been transferred to the Bono East Regional  Police command for further investigation.
