Chef Eric Malik, who worked alongside Chef Faila in the kitchen for nine days and eleven hours straight, has made references to trying his own take on the Guinness World Records cookathon.

When questioned about what would happen following Chef Faila's cookathon attempt—which is presently awaiting Guinness World Records certification—Chef Eric revealed this information in an interview.
During the conversation, Chef Eric made hints about his intention to start his own cook-a-thon, so Ghanaians should anticipate seeing him on television soon.
He grinned and continued, "Maybe the next time, you will see my own coming on."
