Ntiwaa Derbee Music, partners takes health screening to Madina
The gospel artist is using the health screening, counseling and free dewormer distribution as her corporate social responsibility.

Ntiwaa Derbee music,an upcoming gospel musician with woman and children development as the heartbeat has held a medical screening for people of Madina.
The humanitarian gesture which came off on May 1, 2024 was targeted at market women and men as well as children who, due to their busy schedules appear to be ignoring that important part of their lives.
The initiative, Ms Derbee, affectionately called explained was inspired by the move of the Holy Spirit to mobilize individuals and church groups endowed with talents in a bid to serve the need of humanity.
Beyond the medical screening, Ntiwaa Derbee Music wish to venture into what she termed, "School outreach" where the team will be zeroing into addressing issues of menstrual poverty by providing interventions such as sanitary pads,panty liners, education amongst others.
Additionally, the group aims at providing dewormers for both children and adults to ensure well-being.
Being the third since inception, the initiative had benefited Dome Senior High, St Jones Market women with the lastest being the Madina Market.
She urged the market women to prioritize their health and regularly medically examine their health status.
With the assistance of PIWC, Dome King Dav Arts and media partners. Christened, "Ntiwaa Derbee Music May Day Health Screening", the event seeks to educate market folks on lifestyle activities which could be injurious to their health, dangers of self medication and encouraging regular Health Screening to combat diseases.

On his part, Dr. Abraham Baletey Buernor, Medical Officer at Ga East Municipal Hospital and a member of the team disclosed that most of people screened were either on hypertension drugs or show signs of same.
He is therefore urging attendees to reduce intake of salt. While urging them to take their medication holistically to ensure a good health, he stressed the need to incorporate fruits, vegetables and regular exercise.
