Tema West NDC aspiring Deputy Secretary wants the party to remain united

The aspiring Deputy Secretary forTema West, Mr. Ludwig Teye Totimeh has called for unity ahead of the party conference.

This, according to him will ensure that no charlatan breaks through their ranks and divide them.

He gave the cautions in an interview with Soireenews.com at the sidelines of a walk christened Unity Walk.

The walk saw party faithful matching through the principal streets of Sakumonu South to rally support for the party as it goes into its conference.

The walk, he noted offered members the opportunity to interact with each other to foster peace in the party. "A healthy body in a healthy mind and that will enable good thinking going forward", he said.

He said the 2024 election will be a done deal for the NDC but must not be complacent.

The fact that the NPP's performance has been abysmal will not be a walkaway for NDC.

Given that, he is calling for unity and togetherness in the phase of the current economic challenges and bad governance to stay resolute.

"There are a lot of things that Ghanaians are weary about, how much is a dollar or common water as of now?", he queried.

"If we are not careful, Akufo Addo and his government will come and tell that the Queen's dead also has effects on our economy", he joked.

He said that the NDC's track record is impeccable therefore they will build upon that when it wins power come 2024.
