Now let's return to the current situation in Sudan. Despite a 72-hour ceasefire between the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), there are reports of gunshots in Khartoum.

There have also been reports of sporadic skirmishes in Omdurman, Khartoum's twin city.

The RSF reportedly took over the city of Wad Banda in the West Kordofan state on Tuesday morning, according to local media.

The RFS has accused the army of breaking the cease-fire by "continuing to attack Khartoum with planes" in a series of tweets.

The paramilitary organization urged the international community to step in and exert pressure on the army to uphold the ceasefire's conditions.

In the prison in Port Sudan, there have also been reports of firing. According to an army spokesperson who talked to Sky News Arabia, the RSF was in charge of "storming prisons."
