Three individuals have been killed inside a hospital in the Sudanese province of Darfur, according to the medical charity Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).

The pharmacy at the hospital was also robbed, according to a statement.

Two medical personnel were among the victims. MSF teams were not there at the time of the incident, according to the organization.

A second attack was organized at El Geneina Teaching Hospital in West Darfur's main city, according to the MSF, with shootings taking place inside the facility, including the emergency room.

One hospital employee was killed, and medical personnel, including MSF personnel, were evacuated.

"We are saddened by these atrocities and extend our heartfelt sympathies to the victims' families." The statement said, "We condemn these tragic intrusions in the harshest conceivable terms."

The United Nations has demanded a probe into recent conflicts between rival groups, which have claimed the lives of more than 160 people.
