Residents of Tamale Reacts to the Commissioning of Naa Gbewaa Interchange

Some residents of Tamale have shared their thought on the commissioning of the Naa Gbewaa Interchange, noting its significance to the people of the north.

The president yesterday Tuesday, 29th, 2022 opened the structure to road users in the Northern Region.

Assemblyman for the Dakpema electoral Area in the central business of Tamale, Mr. Yakubu Abdul Manan said the project is unprecedented in the history of the north.

He expressed gratitude to the president and the NPP government for initiating the first-ever project in Tamale.

According to him, the newly commissioned interchange will ease the traffic in the Metropolis.

Also, some of the residents said the Metropolis often gets choked whenever there's a ceremony, but with the interchange, there would be a free flow of traffic henceforth.

First users of the Interchange who spoke to Soireenews claimed that it's easier and more convenient to use the facility than the down road.

About a thousand residents both the age and the old thronged the facility site to catch a glimpse of the interchange, which has been named 'Naa Gbewaa Interchange'.
