On Tuesday, as they dispersed anti-coup protestors in the capital, Khartoum, and other places, Sudanese security forces killed at least one person.

The Central Committee of Sudanese Doctors stated in a statement that the demonstrator passed away "after he was struck by live bullets in the face."

He was allegedly killed during anti-coup demonstrations in Omdurman, according to the group, by "forces of the coup government."

According to the report, 116 individuals have died thus far in anti-coup demonstrations.

Since the army overthrew the civilian-led transitional government and assumed power in October 2021, pro-democracy activists have organized demonstrations against the military authority.

The UN mission's efforts to mediate a resolution to the nation's political crisis have been unsuccessful.
