Tense wait for Kenya election results continues

Who will be Kenya's next president is still up in the air six days after the election.

Kenyans are growing increasingly anxious at the delayed count.

William Ruto, the deputy president, has pulled ahead of Raila Odinga with more than 75 percent of the results now officially in.

Kenyans have been asked to refrain from taking any actions that can incite unrest and violence by several renowned organizations, including attorneys, unions, and advocates for human rights.

As political party representatives attempted to obstruct the tallying process on Saturday, anti-riot police were called to the national counting center.

Legally, the election commission has a full week to declare the results of the vote on Tuesday.
