Police Officer on Duty Stoned, stabbed With Bottle at Gomoa Dominase
Residents of Dominase have cautioned the Police not to interfere when robbers are caught for the reason that they want to send a message across for other robbers to have a change of mind.

A Police Constable stationed at Gomoa Dominase District Command in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region is in critical condition after an attempt to lynch him.
Confirming the unfortunate incident to Soireenews reporter, Alex Donkoh, Police Commander, DSP David Osei Fofie revealed that, Dominase police had a distress call from Gomoa Amoanda that a motor snatcher was a target of mob attack.
A police team, including the Constable, were deployed to the scene to restore calm but the irate youth directed their anger toward the Police by throwing stones, beer bottles in the process.
DSP Osei Fofie said the Constable collapsed and was rushed to Gomoa Potsin Polyclinic while the suspect has been rescued and sent to Millennium Divisional Police Command. The victim is said to have been stabbed in some parts of his body, and excessive bleeding led to lightheadedness.
The police disclosed that the suspect" Golden Quashie" believed to be in his 30's hired a motorbike from Gomoa Akotsi to Gomoa Akrama, but upon reaching a section of the road, spraying the rider’s eyes with powdered pepper before bolting with the motorcycle on Sunday evening around 7:30 pm.
Meanwhile, some of the residents in the area Speaking to Soireenews also appealed to the security to provide them with enough security to fight against criminals in the area revealing that they are regularly attacked by armed robbers from Accra.
The suspect armed is at the Gomoa Dominase Police Custody assisting police in an investigation.
