The Ho Magistrate Court 1 has for the third time adjourned the case between  Anthony Jay Dodoye and the state to June 2nd, 2021.

Jay Dodoye is suspected of killing his girlfriend, Kafui Harriet Hiati in March.

The deceased was found in a pool of blood decapitated in her mother’s bedroom where residents and families alleged that she was killed by the boyfriend.

The suspect has already appeared at the same court twice for committal proceedings.

The court adjourned the case because the prosecutors told the court that, vital documents and materials including an exhibit knife found at the scene were sent to the office of the Attorney General and Forensic investigations.

However, the family of the deceased at the court says, they’ve no power but to look up the laws to take its place for justice to prevail.

Hundreds of sympathisers, friends, family members, church members and residents from Ho and its environs on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, gathered at a community cemetery in Agortime Kpetoe to pay their last respect to the late Kafui Harriet Hiatsi, the lady who was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend, ay Dodoye last month.
