Yiadom Boakye Emmanuel, NUGs President

The leadership of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGs) has called the government, former of the union, corporate bodies and organisations to come to the union's aid either in cash or kind to put their office space in good shape.

Addressing the media at a news conference, President of NUGs, Mr  Yiadom Boakye Emmanuel said they have been running the affairs of the union from rented buildings and pleaded-for spaces ever since they were sworn in on 29th June 2021 with their only documentation space being the social media handles.

This according to him, the office space which has not undergone any major renovation was given to them by Ambassador Lee Ocran who was then the Minister for Education in the year 2013.

The president added that the union in their quest to renovate the office is organising a "NUGs Alumni Homecoming and fundraising ceremony" Thursday 4th November 2021 at the Accra Technical University where the Vice president of the Republic, Dr Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia is expected to be the guest of honour.

Mf Emmanuel is of the firm conviction that they are going to have some successful program with the aim and target achieved.
