1 and half-year-old girl killed by heavy floods at Nkanfoa
1 and a half-year-old girl whose mother was buried last week killed by a heavy flood.

One and half-year-old girl Abigail Kakraba whose mother's funeral rite was performed a week ago has also been killed to join her mother by a heavy flood at Nkanfoa in the Cape Coast North Constituency of the Central Region.
The heavy downpour which started at 7:00 to 4:00 pm yesterday flooded many areas in Cape Coast and its environs.
In an interview with SoireeNews, an eyewitness the Auntie, who is taking care of the children went to the Market and left the children to a sister living in the house, the children went out after the rain to play. He saw Kakraba and one other kid playing close to the gutter which was flooded and asked them to go home but they refused.
According to the search team's account, they said that the children were crossing a gutter in which the younger one Araba fell into the gutter and got drowned. They searched for almost 2 hours but couldn't find the body of Kakraba, they then called one of the elders of the land to pacify the gods so they can reveal the body of the child. The body of Abigail was found after the libation was performed.
One of the witnesses said, he saw the child flowing in the flood and informed his colleagues to search for her.
"We searched for almost three hours but we could not find her so we pour libation to ask the gods to help us find her before we saw her death", they revealed.
