Nigerian police search for kidnapped priest

According to local media, Nigerian police have initiated an effort to find a Catholic priest who was abducted over the weekend by gunmen.
The parish priest of a church in the Okigwe region of southern Imo state is Rev. Fr. Jude Maduka.
The priest was abducted while getting ready for the Sunday mass, according to a coworker who spoke to the Punch newspaper.
The release of the priest "safe and sound" has been demanded by the church.
