Apostolic Church of Ghana, Nkurakan Dedicates 14 Teenage Krobo Girls To God

The ceremony was held to replace the traditional "Dipo" rite of passage by the Krobo people to usher their teenage girls into adulthood.

The Apostolic Church of Ghana (CAC) Nkurakan in the Yilo Krobo Municipal on Sunday replaced the traditional "Dipo" Confirmation Service for teenage girls in the church.
The ceremony was held to replace the traditional "Dipo" rite of passage by the Krobo people to usher their teenage girls into adulthood.
 
The colourful ceremony  confirmation witnessed 14 beautiful maidens who used this opportunity to dedicate their lives to God through open declaration of their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal saviour and also to commune with their maker. 
This glorious event was officiated by Evangelist Albert Narh Sackey, the Area Superintendent of Nkurakan Area in the Yilo Krobo during the Saturday morning session of this year's Easter Convention held at the Nkurakan Presby School Park.
Evangelist Albert Sackitey Narh charged christendom to wake up and take up the cross of Jesus Christ into towns in order to liberate people from oppression and dominion of evil spirits of Dipo rite.
