Most Children of Wassa Mpohor Are Suffering from Allergies Due to the Dusty Nature of Mpohor road-Dr. Kwame Yeboah.

Dr Kwame Yeboah of Cape Coast Teaching Hospital has revealed that most children in Mpohor are suffering from allergies as a result of the bad and dusty nature of their road.

Dr Yeboah explained that too much dust in your eyes may cause itching and that is exactly the situation the children of Mpohor and its environs are experiencing.

Dr Yeboah made this revelation when the Member of Parliament for Mpohor Constituency in the Amanfi West of the Western Region Honourable John Abeam Sannie and its Foundation collaborated with the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital and HCP medical team held a free eye screening for the Mpohor Constituents.

Children and the aged who turned up for the free eye screening were given medicated lenses and drugs when the need arise.

Dr Kwame Yeboah in an interview said most of the children are suffering from allergies while others are also suffering from infraction errors and advised the people not to use their hands to scratch but use a clean towel soaked with water and place it on their eyes.

The Member of Parliament also added that the John Sannie Foundation is helping the Constituents in line with education, health, sanitation and others since some programs are not new to them but advise the residents and their environs to take their health very seriously.

Some of the residents who benefited from the free health screening also share their views by commending their Member of Parliament for such a kind project to support the residents in the area.
