Kenyan media sites are saying that the supervisor of a polling place in Nairobi, the nation's capital, has been discovered dead days after his family reported him missing.

According to the sources, Daniel Mbolu Musyoka's body was discovered in a forest in Loitoktok, Tanzania, close to the border with Kilimanjaro.

His two sisters helped the Daily Nation newspaper identify the body. The body was allegedly discovered by herders and showed obvious signs of torture.

Mr. Musyoka worked as a returning officer in Nairobi's Embakasi East.
